Nokia N91 ada beberapa type yaitu  N91 4GB dan N91 8GB, beberapa waktu yang lalu aku flasing Nokia N91-1 RM-43 4GB karena salah flashing nomor imei jadi berubah 123456 setelah cari info sana-sini ternyata salah file flash, yang semestinya menggunakan file MCU=RM43_V2.20.008.core dan PPM=RM43_V2.20.008.14.variant.

kali ini aku flash N91-1 8GB RM-43, terulang kesalahan yang sama cuma bedanya yang ini selain imeinya berubah cantik ditambah lagi dengan Contact Retailer. huh 3 jam lebih hanya mencari bagaimana menangani hal ini. aku terkecoh oleh kalimat 8GB sehingga aku flash menggunakan firmware RM43_V3.00.060.core dan RM43_V3.00.060.14.variant, yang semestinya diflash masih menggunakan firmware diatas ( MCU=RM43_V2.20.008.core dan PPM=RM43_V2.20.008.14.variant )

ternyata yang harus diperhatikan adalah kalimat N91-1 RM-43 dan N91-2 RM-43. jadi kesimpulannya adalah jika hanphone yang akan diflash adalah N91-1 maka firmware yang digunakan adalah :

RM-43_v 4.00 (mcusw 1.00.028)
RM-43_v 10.00 (mcusw 1.10.030)
RM-43_v 27.00 (mcusw 2.00.052)
RM-43_v 30.00 (mcusw 2.10.013)
RM-43_v 51.00 (mcusw 2.20.008)

kemudian jika HPnya adalah N91-2 maka firmware yang digunakan adalah :

RM-43_8GB_v 8.00 (mcusw 3.00.060)
RM-43_8GB_v 31.00 (mcusw 3.10.023)

tanpa melihat apakah hanphone tersebut menggunakan hardisk 4 GB atau 8GB. dan pastikan hanphone ada bisa masuk kedalam LOCAL MODE. jika kabel flash yang di pakai masih asli bawaan BOX flasher anda bisa menggunakan VPP  Magic. ( dalam hal ini local mode pada posisi ke 2 ).

bagi anda yang terlanjur salah flash ke versi V3.00.060 anda bisa balikan lagi ke versi V2.20.008 dengan menambahkan option DOWNGRADE lalu flash ulang dan BERHASIL.

untuk flash versi bahasa indonesia anda bisa menggunakan :

MCU Flash file: D:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-43\RM43_V2.20.008.core
PPM Flash file: D:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-43\RM43_V2.20.008.14.variant

How to service db2010/db2020/pnx5230 cid49/cid50/cid51/cid52/cid53 using new setool2 (>=v0.914029) alternative bypass method ?
what problems i can meet and how to resolved them ?
what precautions should i follow ?

a:

terms:
phone should work fine.
red blink, white blink, etc phones are NOT supported.

you can only use alternative bypass if your phone has supported firmware (you need BOTH rest file and bypass package)
if your firmware not supported, either flash supported firmware (only main part in enough) or post request on forum.

please, visit THAT thread to make CORRECT request for missing bypass package and fetch latest bypass packages.

BEFORE using new alternative bypass method you SHOULD turn phone on and install CSCA(MODEM) drivers.

i STRONGLY recommending to browse that FAQ and READ article about com-ports growth - there is EXTREMLY helpful file,which
prevents discovering of same phone models as new devices.

if you are capable user, you can edit .inf files of CSCA(MODEM) drivers - we only need to install
Sony Ericsson Device XXX bus driver and Sony Ericsson Device xxx USB WMC Modem - all other devices is not needed.
that will help you to save comport numbers.

important! if your phone had unsupported firmware and you flashed main part (all parts) of supported - you MUST power on phone, so phone will update new firmware info.

because of way new alternative bypass method works, you need
TEST SIM card (mcc/mnc 00101) or OPERATOR SIM card. (you must be able browse phone menu,etc)

db201x cid50/cid51 - k320,k310,k510,w300,etc
db2012 cid52 - normal CID52 phones (w200,w300), abnormal CID52 phones (k310,k510,w810,z550)

suatu hari ada pasien yang membawa Sony Ericson type W910i, setiap ganti kartu selalu menanyakan kode phonenya, ngga tau dia lupa atau bagaimana ya akhirnya dia bawa ketempatku. mulanya aku juga bingung gimana meresetnya ya, kalau di Nokia kan ada istilah Format User Area ( FUA ), nah kalau di SE bagai mana.

setelah aku mencari informasi di forum akhirnya dapat juga caranya begini :

1. Pilih type phone yang akan direset

2. pastikan tidak ada firmware yang terisi ( maksudnya kosongkan saja )

3. Centang hanya “USE SERVER FOR CSA UNLOCK/FLASH” dibagian setting.

4. Tekan tombol Unlock/Repair.

6. tara berhasil

Sudah beberapa bulan ini gangguan Telepon maupun SMS sering terjadi, setelah usut punya usut ternyata overload bandwidth karena banyak yang nelpon maupun sms, sayangnya kita yang ngga ngerasaain nelpon murah namun kena imbasnya juga ibarat pepatah orang yang makan nangka kita yang dapat getahnya doang.
